At fiddlehead, we take good food seriously. We make our soups and salads from scratch, daily. Many of our ingredients come from local farms and suppliers to ensure that the food we serve is the freshest. This makes our food look better, taste better, and be all around much healthier.

RI-PEAR-IAN SALAD
Few can resist the charm of the ri-pear-ian salad at fiddlehead. Order the ri-pear-ian, and you are on your way to feeling pleasantly full and wonderfully refreshed. Inspired by a riverside picnic, this salad starts off with a healthy and flavorful base of fresh baby spinach leaves. We then add cubes of creamy white cheddar made by one of our local purveyors, Goot Essa, that practically melt in your mouth. Our pear provides a juicy, yet crisp element to the salad, while the dried cranberries offer a natural sweetness. The pièce de rèsistance? Our homemade candied walnuts. The allure of their fresh-out-the-oven aroma is irresistible. We'll give you an overflowing scoop of these sugar-roasted walnuts to add a candied crunch to your ri-pear-ian salad. All of these components are harmoniously tossed to perfection in a homemade lemon poppy dressing: fresh, sweet, and tangy. |
